Winning trophies in football should be a thing of joy but that is not the case these days. First it happened in Liverpool when a driver ran into a crowd of liverpool fans celebrating the club's victory in the league, and then in Paris, 2 people died, and hundreds injured with police claiming more than 200 were arrested. One wonders why sports celebration have to turn bloody.

Yes.
The one in Liverpool was a real shocker.
Wouldn't have ever expected that.
Paris, wasn't quite so unexpected.
We in Scotland are used to football hooliganism - it was commonplace in the 70,s and 80,s
Thankfully not so much now

I agree with you, Paris is the most notorious place for football hooligans in Europe right now.

That's awful. It would be fun to attend a football game. Now I wonder if I should attend one.
