Can any 1 tell me what yesterday was ? any 1 who
lives or has lived in Fla should know right off the bat.
I can tell you it's the main reason why we left Fla
I can tell you It comes every year at this time
I also can tell you it's something that isn't fun when
you hear about it, or if you have been through 1.
I can tell you that's why Fla people live in other
states & come back after the season is over every
year That's called snow birds & it's not winter.
Every 1 that lives in & around the southern states
gets prepared & gets things in order for it ? hopes
they can get lucky to never be caught in 1.

I was completely baffled. I thought she was referring to mosquito season. They don't call the mosquito the state bird of Florida for no reason! haha

Mosquito season? LOL
Being a native Floridian, I can tell you that June 1st is a pretty big day in Florida, one that everybody is talking about. It's like a holiday, but not in a good way. My prayer is that we actually make it through this season without a "big one" hitting us.

@2ndchances24 Right now Florida needs rain big time, we are in a severe drought and wildfires are popping up everywhere. So, at least currently, I think Florida would welcome a tropical storm or two to hit the state. Just not a big Cat-4 or Cat-5 storm!

@moffittjc from what I have been seeing Fla has been getting rain just not
in all of Fla, the north panhandle mainly.

I'm hoping the weather forecast is wrong on
them saying it's going to be a very active
season for hurricanes.
