I know that face/emoticon/whatever is supposed to be "whistle" but when I look at it, I see "Phew" or "Whoo" or something like that. I made one phone call, and it turns out that I am going out later, and then made another phone call and got a secretary and was told I'd get a call later. That person I was trying to get ahold of actually did call back, and we got our business done, and then...well, now I'm here posting. After lunch, I'll go and catch the bus to the hearing aid place (one of the places where I called), so they can look at them and figure out why they're not working right. The last time I put them in, it sounded like people were talking through a pillow, and I've not been wearing them because even with a slight hearing impairment I found I could hear better without them. I'm looking forward to having them back, though, so I don't have to say "What?" "Pardon?" "Come again?" etc. when people are talking to me. So, now I need to have lunch. Hope that all is going well with you in your part of myLot land!
