See AI not so bad. We all know punk started in late 70's probably 60's Ska was first but people had to vent their frustration . I laugh at young bucks because they do not know how old Social Distortion is. They took long breaks, might have been in prison. Did not hear it from me, but who is the oldest alive punk band? Well I guess I did not ask it like that either, but some of the oldest punk bands are The U.K. Subs were one of the earliest English punk bands, forming in 1976 alongside the Sex Pistols1. However, there were other bands before punk rock was officially defined, such as The Adicts, which originated in 1975. Social Distortion was 1978 and Bad Religion 1979. Point is Social D with throat cancer still going. He has been saying this for years and I am alright with it. He will put out new album when its ready, might be on his death bed but Mike has earned that right. Lets just shut up and listen to a man who has been through some things.
