Phew. That doggie can pull. I went over to the apartment of the lady I had spoken to earlier, and I was just going to go around the corner, when here she comes after having parked her car. We went to her apartment, she put the leash on her dog and we went. Or, we tried to go. The first few hundred feet--actually, practically the whole walk--she tried to turn back towards (her) home. I guess it was different when she knew her mom was at home. At one point, we went across the street to the shopping center, and she almost took me all the way across. Ariel's "Mom" had said 45 minutes, so I was trying to take her a long way so we could do it the whole time. For the most part she kept trying to turn me back to her mom's apartment, but I kept telling her, "No, your Mom said 45 minutes." When we got home, Ariel's "Mom" paid me $25, which was $5 more than she originally said, and she said she appreciated the last minute availability. Now I am here talking to you folks.
