Hey, has anyone else noticed the smoke from the Manitoba wildfires making its way into Toronto? I woke up this morning and the sky looked pretty hazy. The air quality is definitely not great, and it got me worried. It must be even worse for people living closer to the fires.
I’ve been reading that wildfires are happening more and more these days, and it’s kind of scary to think about how something like this can affect people so far away. I mean, it’s not just about the smoke—it’s also the health risks, especially for kids, the elderly, or anyone with respiratory issues.
If you’re closer to the fire areas, how are you doing? Are you taking any precautions? I really hope more is done to prevent wildfires from getting this bad, because it’s honestly getting tough to ignore.
Anyone else concerned about how this is going to keep affecting us, or how we can better prepare for these kinds of situations in the future?

We in Scotland have a bit of a problem with wild fires just now.
I saw on the news that the firemen now burn sections of the land to stop the burning spreading.
I think it might be a thing that we have to get used to as the climate warms.
It happened here in April which is pretty unheard of.
