It's the dark of the moon on the sixth of June here in the Neon Fun Jungle, Radio Rangers. I'm in my third biggest truck, a big beautiful 1977 Kenworth K100. Pullin' logs. For a while, anyway. When we get to Texarkana, I'll dump these logs and load up on Coors. Because the boys are thirsty in Atlanta. Before we get to all that, I need to tell you what happened to me yesterday. I went to Buenos Aires to see my friend, Ilsa. So I could tell her about my upcoming trip to Cairo ((The one in Egypt, not the one in Illinois)). She used to live in Germany and that's where I met her, just outside of Düsseldorf, in 1943. In 1945, her employer went through a hostile takeover and lost its lease. Then she had to relocate to Argentina. I had gone to see her for two reasons. Number One was she redecorated her dungeon, and I wanted to see it. Number Two was to see if she would be interested in going to Egypt. Her home features a beautifully decorated majlis, where guests are welcomed with tea and conversation. That's where I met Mika, her new Japanese personal assistant. I asked her if she'd like to go and see the pyramids and she said, "Kashikomarimashita, Sir." When Ilsa finally joined us, I asked her if she wanted to join Mika and me in Egypt. She said, "It sounds fun but are you allowed to go to Egypt?" "I'm a grown-up American. No one can tell me what to do," I said. "I can go anywhere I want. North Korea is tricky to get in and out of, but I can still go there." She chuckled and showed me this, "Trump announces travel ban and restrictions on 19 countries set to go into effect Monday" ((Article Linked Below)). It was in a local paper, so she had to translate it from Spanish into German so she could understand it. And then into English so I could understand it. And finally, Japanese, so Mika could understand it. Somewhere in all that translating, we learned that this new travel ban is just like all the other nonsense travel bans. It only affects people in those countries who want to visit the US. It doesn't stop people in the US from going to them. It happened just in the nick of time because I was just about to cancel the trip. That's a good thing because many people say, you don't tug on Superman's cape. You don't spit into the wind. You don't pull the mask off that old lone ranger and you don't try to tell me what to do. As usual, many people are right. With that in mind, let's go to November, 1975, and yesterday (When I was young and all my troubles seemed so far away) to see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Travel Ban And Song Of The Month Club Anthem Travel Ban And Song are for today. Wait! I didn't know this was a toll bridge. Whether the ban is logical or not, time only will tell. At the superfast express speed that Trump has done things, the way Trump and Musk have fallen apart and a lot more ongoing across the world, it is all so madening. Here in India too, we have seen a recent conflict and well, India is set to accelerate on its Weapons, Drones and Advanced Stealth Fighter. Trump 2.0 has seen his popularity go down in India because of the way he is taking credit for ceasefire between India and Pakistan and due to some other decisions, US has its hands in. While Indian relations with US have improved, some acts of past have made their way back to our minds. So if in some ways, India goes again and takes Russian help in boosting its Defense should not come as a surprise to many. Well, that went a bit long. I hope that your African and South American tours go well. Just try to steer clear of areas under extremist control as they can sometimes get desperate (and can even cause wars to start). How long was the flight from Neon Fun Jungle to Buenos Aires?

The flight isn't bad, 11 hours, 40 minutes. It's much faster than going to Sydney.

I had a comedian friend who said "Convoy" was the second-greatest rap song ever. The #1 greatest rap song ever was "A Boy Named Sue." I've been to Cairo, Illinois. To quote Warren Zevon, and it ain't that pretty at all.

How about that? I never knew I was a big rap fan.

And you reminded me that some comedian, can't remember which one, said, "Dr. Suess is the baddest rapper ever. No one can compete with him." The more I think about it, though, Shel Silverstein is right up there at the top.
