We went out for our usual smoke break, and right as we were wrapping up, the sky decided to match our mood—gray and moody. It started to darken up fast, so we hustled back inside with Rebel before the rain hit. Rebel’s not exactly a fan of thunder or rain... or anything that falls from the sky, really. He’s got that “nope” energy when it comes to weather. We grabbed some leftovers for lunch—nothing like yesterday’s dinner to spice up today’s apathy—and I did a little aimless scrolling on YouTube before landing on something worth watching. Last Meals is a show by Josh Scherer, aka Mythical Chef Josh (yes, that Josh from the Good Mythical Morning universe). He interviews celebrities and asks them what their ideal last meal would be. It's like "Inside the Actor’s Studio," but with more food and slightly less existential dread. We’ve seen a bunch of episodes already, but this one was high on my watchlist because Josh is interviewing Alan Tudyk—a criminally underrated, wildly talented actor. Sci-fi fans know him from the short-lived cult classic Firefly and now as the star of Resident Alien, where he plays a weirdo alien pretending to be a human doctor—which is way more entertaining than it sounds. Oh, and he’s also voiced half the Disney canon at this point.
