In the southern hemisphere the white sands are colder

Indonesia is situated in the southern hemisphere. When we went for swimming in the sea in Bali we found the white sands are really colder than the northern hemisphere. the sunlight are also weaker than the north. We enjoyed the talcum powder like fine sand.
