We're Almost There

We're almost to the end of the week. Not that it means to much lol. So I'm at Chris's today watching grandmom and that will leave me time to do many other things. I brought the Eagle and Feather resin mold to color. If I can get it done then I can fill it tonight at some point. Then I'll have one 4th of July eagle lol. With a little luck I'll have it in the shop Friday. There are two orders I need to fill by tomorrow. Two windspinners and a tumbler. I can do it, I just need to remember to do them lol. I get home and I don't want to do anything. I got most of the practical for my educator class finished. I just need to make a lesson plan and I'll be done and able to send it in. Fingers crossed by the end of the month I'll be commissioned and the changes that I'm trying to make might hold a little more weight. I'm making progress cleaning, little by little. Dad is back in the ER but it's not all bad. We're just kind of waiting. His heart rate is too fast and they've been giving him a medicine to bring it down. It's working but they're still talking about shocking his heart to put it back into rhythm. I'll find out more today, mom is already up there. Tonight is the R&R meeting. I'll be talking about putting some safety sheets out. Mostly about fireworks since we're close to the fourth of july. We'll see if it gets listened to. I'm hoping things will slow down shortly. I have to finish writing notes from the book from my educators class and then once the practical is finished that whole thing will be done. With luck I'll have my CPR classes finished by July. It's a little tricky right now because we're in the budget phase of the year. I'm really excited about this. I'm taking Saturday to just relax and read. We have training on Saturday but it'll be a fun one I think and then I'm just chilling. There is a plan lol and there is definitely taking a break in there. There's always something to do but I need just five minutes. I finally feel like I can breathe. Like there's a light at the end of the tunnel. There's no better feeling I'm tellin ya lol. What is everyone else up to today? Are you taking time to breathe?

I am taking time to breathe But I am not sure that you are. And 5.minutes is not a long time to stop and reset. Please keep us all posted about your Dad. Can I be honest. I read your posts which I enjoy doing or I wouldn't do it, but am worried about you because it all just seems too much for one person to cope with. You got to the hoping things will slow down but, And I saw light at the end of the tunnel And then CPR classes and taking a break on Saturday followed by " we have training on Saturday. I thought I was busy when I worked, But I had nothing on you.

It's definitely a lot and some of it I didn't even anticipate. There is an end to this amount of work but I will always be busy. We're hoping that this one job my husband applied for comes through and after a few months just to make sure it's steady, I'm going to stop caregiving and I'll be home again working EMS when I can. At least that's the goal. Once I can get this program and these changes at least talked about it'll take some things off of me. Or it should in theory.

I hope you can take some "me" time. My husband had AFIB for many years. He was on meds and had his heart shocked many times. I hope they can get your father's heart in a regular rhythm.

We're working on it. They just diagnosed him with whooping cough and influenza. We're still waiting on the blood clot.
