Done with outside errands...

...aside from watering the plants, but anyway...
When I left for the second time, I stopped at the office with some papers I needed to drop off. After that, I went to the Hallmark store to pick up a stationery set that I bought online. After that, I went to the jewelry store two doors down to have some rings looked at. One was actually gold, although the lady I spoke to, who was new, noticed the band was also broken. Since they buy gold, I sold it to them. I got the other rings identified as to what they were made of and such, and wrote that down.
Finally, I headed for the grocery store (all these places were in feet/yards of each other) and got things I needed, much of which I still need to put away.
After this I'll have lunch, then do Bible study, then do some of the things on my "to do" list that can be done here at home.
I hope that all is going well with you in your part of myLot land!

No, they didn't give me any information about grams or anything. The band of the ring was actually very thin, and broken. I got $40 for it, which I am not going to complain about.

I would not have complained either.
We have some rings and stuff we were thinking of selling
I might take it to the place that buys the gold next week

Well, when I went to the bank today it was a few blocks away. You're right, though--the rest of it was close.
