Did you have a customer who failed to pay the order upon delivery?

Did you experience this in your online business? A customer refused to pay for the order for vague reasons? What was your sanction for that unruly customer? It will be crucial to have a customer like this. We capitalize the shipping and pay the rider, also. That's one kind of loss. This kind of customer is hard to detect. It's rest assured that this customer will be labelled as black listed customer. In my case, I experienced this twice already. A customer ordered one pair of branded shoes. He refused to pay. I was thankful to the rider who delivered it because he didn't allow the customer to open the parcel. I published it on media and he was blacklisted by the online sellers.

That isn’t a thing here. Customers have to pay before the item is even sent, which I am glad about. Because it is just not fair what those two people did to you.

@AmbiePam Indeed it is not easy. The customer begged me to pay thru COD, It was not in my mind that he won't pay.

There will always be the odd customer who goes rogue. Do you sell via an e-commerce platform? Won't they ensure you get the amount due?

@pitstop, that's true. I have business online selling printed T-shirts and branded shoes. I display my products on Facebook Market Place. It's free and my customers are mostly my Facebook friends and followers.

I'm sorry to learn that you experienced that. It is indeed a loss on our part. I didn't experienced that when I was also selling online. Though that was only for a short period of time because I was reassigned and could no longer do the business. But that is part of the business and I hope that it won't happen again.

@ARIES1973, it hurts but that's part of our journey in online business. I need to be careful.
