Caramelized bread pudding

I make this often when I have left over bread I firist caramelize the vessel where I will put the stuff in . I beat eggs in milk, adding sugar to taste. Bread is borken into pieces. A bit of the prepared milk is poured and then layered with bread speading a few raisins and cashew nut pieces this process continues and the last layer will be milk.
I usually steam the caramelized bread pudding.
Great taste and filling too - sometimes a breakfast treat.

I have to skip the post. It looks tempting and I can't have any sugar right now strictly in my post operative care.
Enjoy it. Having a full portion for breakfast sounds delicious.

@allknowing Yes, it could be eaten for breakfast too. I just ate it yesterday for breakfast. I should have taken a pic.
