The tropical rainforests have a lot of fruit trees. While common fruit trees like bananas are normal, there are a lot of lovely waterapple trees. The waterapple fruits are called jamrul in bengali. There are white or red and watery.

It has been a long time since I have tasted water apple. I will check if it's available online, I will order some. It's very good for hydration.

thanks arunimaji in bengali we call it jamrul there is a white variety and a red variety

@sathviksouvik Yes, and there is a third one having mix of these two colours. It's white, but with some thin stripes of red on the top.

@arunima25 In bengal the kala jamun are very popular. They have anti-sugar qualities. While the litchis or water apples last for only 1 month the kala jamun will last for 3 months
