I once bought a fancy-looking mini donut maker online — thought it’d be fun. It makes ONE donut at a time… one! By the time I finished the batch, I didn’t even want donuts anymore ?? Total waste. Have you ever bought something that seemed like a good idea… until it arrived? Let’s hear your funny or facepalm-worthy purchases!

Yes! A hand massaging “machine”. At the age of 22 (I’m 44 now) I was diagnosed with arthritis in my spine and hands. Earlier this year I saw a hand massaging machine and thought, oh! This will help so much! I don’t even know where it is now.

Oh no, one of those purchases! ?? It’s funny how these miracle gadgets seem like the perfect solution until they arrive and end up vanishing into the land of forgotten stuff. I totally get the hope behind it though — chronic pain will make you try anything that might help. Maybe it’ll randomly turn up one day… probably right after you no longer need it ??

Haha, sounds like we both fell for the “kitchen gadget magic” trap! Mine’s a donut maker collecting dust — yours is a pie machine with commitment issues. At least you’re trying to sell it… mine just mocks me from the cupboard!
