Mackeral sandwich for lunch ....

I haven't had any mackeral for ages so decided to have a mackeral sandwich for lunch today. We have got a lovely Farmhouse loaf and I thought that it would be perfect for lunch ....it was a good choice as it was delicious....probably more so as I hadn't had it for a while. I finished of with a small bowl of grapes. What was your lunch for today ....

Was it tinned Mackerel? Don't really fancy that.to be honest We had Rice Krispies for lunch

yeah, tinned mackeral. It is nice. We rarely buy the fresh now ....not sure why.

@Traceyjayne The price of fresh Mackerel is very expensive but it does taste better

@Ineeddentures we always have fresh if its for a meal ....but for sandwiches we have tinned
