There are many natural dams where water falls from height and used in farms

States build big dam projects for regulating water and also create hydro electric power. But there are many natural dams. Here water falls from a height. So the flow of the water carries the current to the adjoining farm lands for agriculture. When water comes from hills and melting snow they are pure. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/GvSEiDl7Y2g https://www.youtube.com/shorts/u5Mr7N2fruM

Natural dams are a good help from the nature itself. Last year, we visited Tungabhadra dam and even did some boating there. It was on our way to Chikkamanglur.
