Elon Musk's Starlink made to look dwarf by China

We know that China is capable of doing almost anything under the sun or even beyond it. Elon Musk had launched his Starlink Services around 2019. Many of us might be knowing this by now. And when it comes to competition how can China be left behind?
In the space communication war, China beat Starlink hands down. By using just a laser beam, that too just 2-watts, China sent data faster than Starlink - 5 times faster. As if this wasn't enough to surprise you, this data transmission came from a whooping distance of 36, 000 km above our planet.
China made it possible to achieve the speed of 1 Gbps as compared to Elon Musk's Starlink, that manages to send data in a few Mbps.
Wake up call for Elon Musk.

It's a competitive market out there and betterment of the old or launch of new technology is happening at the blink of an eye. Such is the pace. No wonder soon they will outsmart their own thing or some other competition might bring a better one. China is definitely the most competitive of all countries.

I agree with you that the market is competitive and that there are better things coming out daily. Almost daily. But the way we see particular competition, or the development of a particular service it's quite obvious that they are pointed at your competitors.
Like we had the example of this very Starlink, that Elon Musk developed challenging Apple. I think this one by China is also targetted to beat Starlink. This is a never-ending competition.
