Do You Have Any Idea How Many Things Your Credit Card Number is Tied To?

We are switching credit cards as of today. Well, when the new credit card arrives in a few days.
It's a better deal for us with more cash back.
But at some point we have to change all the auto-pay and auto-fill places online where we have our credit card # stored to the new #. I'm thinking maybe 20+ places?
Would you have a lot of places to update your credit card info if you changed cards?

@looeyville I’ve lost track of it all. Just got my credit card bill today. It’s what I use abroad because I’ve got one of those cards that doesn’t add on an extra “administrative” charge for foreign transactions.

@LooeyVille Since they are available why don’t all travellers have one? Some folk are just so oblivious to what’s possible. I have my spending money set aside so that after a trip I can pay off the credit card immediately and incur zero interest.

@xFiacre That's precisely what I do. I haven't carried a credit card balance since my 20's or early 30's possibly but always pay off everything each month. I only use the credit card out of convenience and don't buy what I can't afford to pay for. My old credit card was also one with zero foreign transaction fees, but this one offered a better deal and perks and cash back.

Not too many. On most sites I choose not to save my credit card number. With Walmart and Amazon I don't have a choice. I would have to change all the auto-pay sites like DISH, Kinetic/Windstream, etc.

Yes, but its seamless for me. I use Apple pay and some issuesers make the process seemless.
