Missions Trip with church

I am preparing to go on my first missions trip with church.
I am super excited to see how God is going to use me and my gifts for the goodness of others.
I am hoping to come back with a huge change of direction for my lifes purpose.
Have you been on a missions trip with your chuch?
Do you donate to help people spread the gospel to places you cant go yourself?
Would you ever go on a missions trip ?
Any tips or tricks for the airplane ride and for the journey in general.

A big bunch of young people from our church (aged 14 to 25) are coming back from their missions trip next week. Some went to Japan, Costa Rica, Mexico, or Spain. The few that already got back keep talking about how God touched their hearts, and it seems to have really hit home.
I know God will change your heart too since you are so open to it. That is absolutely wonderful. As for the plane ride, just make sure everything is TSA compliant.

Yes this is my first time flying without my husband and he is usually the one to make sure all of that is good so I’m going to have him double check everything lol
