Party time

Today my son had his birthday party at a jumping place .
We had the party room for 2 hours which I think is pretty short to fit in fun , eating , singing happy birthday and opening up gifts .
I’m one to not open gifts in front of people though . I don’t like some people to feel like they didn’t get enough or they should have got something else .
We appreciated that they took time out of their day to celebrate with us .
Have you rented a party room for a kids birthday ?
What is a good time frame to have a party ?
Do you open gifts in front of everyone ?

I am a party orgnaizier and my parties are Xmas parties for seniors and poor kids So far I have thrown around 21 such parties. My parties are for the full day mostly at our place.
This time I will have it only for seniors in a school hall and plan to have high tea with Santa and that will last around 3 hours.

Wow how fun an all day party !
Do you do like food all day or just a certain amount then till it runs out ?

For younger children, 2 hours should be enough. They would start feeling tired, restless and cranky. Once they come to middle school, they want longer parties.
Happy birthday to your son. God bless him with happiness and health.

We all get excited about our gifts and want to open it soon. But then we learn to mask our emotions, children don't. They just show it

That is so true I didn’t think of that !
The only reason my son was fine leaving was because he knew he got to go home to open presents , other than that he would of wanted to stay longer lol
He’s always so active and on the go !
Awe thanks a bunch
