Kitchen closed.

Another night, another kitchen closure. I had to wait on the crock pot to cool off before I could finish cleaning up the kitchen, and there was another pot that I had to clean up. It wasn't really that bad tonight. That's the joy of one pot meals, there aren't that many dishes. Both kids are fed and satisfied. They always have snacks. I ask them every time I do any sort of grocery shopping what they want to make sure they have plenty to snack on. So the kitchen is officially closed for the night.

Will the kids raid the kitchens when they are truly hungry?

They have snacks. They don't need to raid anything.

@thislittlepennyearns My mum do not allow snacking after dinner so we raid the kitchen when we were young.

One pot meals are quick and convenient to cook. Also, less dishes to clean later. I have recipes for few one pot rice items and they are so handy on busy days or when I want less work in the kitchen. They are filling and healthy too.

Its only 1 in the afternoon here and I am at work. Definitely, my kitchen is closed at the moment and have to reopen it as soon as I get back home.

One-pot meals really are a lifesaver! Glad the kids are happy and the kitchen's officially on break.
