What A Fun Weekend!

My weekend wasn’t bad. Not bad at all. :)
Friday evening, my best friend, her son, and I went to Good Year to have her tires changed. Then, we hit the road to York, PA. We like the mini road trip, though we probably would’ve skipped it if we knew travel was going to be so horrible (road work). Oh well. Anywho, we went to Royal Farms (convenience store), Five Below, and the Dollar Tree. I bought a lint roller, lemon creme crackers for lunches, a Ginger Ale, and a container for veggies/fruit and dip (it’s about the size of a sandwich container and has a smaller part for the dip). My best friend was also nice enough to treat me to Burger King, so I got the chicken fries and French fries. I already had a drink. Once I was dropped off, I ate a snack, got ready for bed, and conked out.
Saturday morning, my best friend asked at the last minute if I felt like going to Drug City (pharmacy/store), Target, and DSW (shoe store). I didn’t want or need anything, so I saved my money and only went to get up and out of the house. I was tired but didn’t want to sleep too long.
Later that evening, my niece, two of our friends/trivia teammates, and I went out to celebrate our friend’s last night in Maryland. She and her husband are moving out of state. Waaah. :( I’ll miss her, and trivia won’t be the same without her, but we’ll keep in touch. She may even visit in September, so yay! :)
Anywho, we went to the mall food court for dinner. That way, everyone could get what they wanted. I got a slice of pizza and a Dr. Pepper, of course. It was a big slice though, and so yummy lol. Then, we hit up Dave and Buster’s for a few hours. I don’t get to go often, so it was fun to just play some games. I didn’t have a lot of tickets, but I got two prizes I’m happy with: one of those pop-it fidget toys (like bubble wrap, I love those) and some cute squishy thing. Then, my friend insisted on getting me a pink D&B pen. I'll attach a picture of my prizes. :)
My sweet tooth was in overload, so I ate some ice cream when we got home and eventually went to bed.
Sunday, my sisters and I went to journal at the coffee shop. I haven’t finished my coffee page in my junk journal (I need to get some stickers), and I don’t know what I wanna do next in my NKOTB journal. Sooo, I decided to just fill out my planners since I needed to do that anyway. I even added some planner stickers, which I tend to forget about until it’s time to be creative (rather than filling them out as part of my routine). Anywho, I also ordered a spiced iced chai because it’s sooo good, but I don’t get it often.
At home, I made a coffee, did some dishes, and lounged. Happy Sunday, haha. I also finished reading Jeannette McCurdy’s book, “I’m Glad My Mom Died.” I loved it and will own it someday. Maybe I can make an entire post to talk about it. I wouldn’t call it a book review because I’m too lazy to sit here and dissect it, but we’ll see what comes out. I’m not sure when I’m posting it either, but we’ll see.
So, I’d say I had a fun weekend for the most part. It was definitely an improvement from last weekend.
Alrighty, I’m going to wrap this up, but I’ll be back later. I’m not posting a lot because it’s the last day of the month. I’m just behind and have post ideas, is all lol. Take care. :)

@tammys85 I'm glad she's happy now. She deserves it. Just shows how badly that generation (and others) of child actors were treated.

@thislittlepennyearns Absolutely! Even generations before, but you'd think by then, more adults would be in their corner. :( I truly hope she's doing well now.
