I’m Cat Sitting Again in August.

Woo-hoo! I’m cat sitting again in August. I didn’t wanna say anything until it was confirmed. The same cat, same family (one of my good friends of like, 20-21 years, her husband, and their son). She wrote me a few weeks ago and asked if I would be available July 31st through August 4th (they’re going to a wedding). Of course, I said yes. I can do my freelance writing at her place, and it’s far enough in advance for me to keep my schedule clear. She’ll be picking me up after work on July 31st because I live near her work, so it makes the most sense to just head out to her house with her. Plus, it'll give us more time to catch up. :) I’ll be back either the evening of August 4th or sometime the next day. If nobody around my place can pick me up, she’ll just bring me back, so it’s all good. I’m looking forward to it. I like being out there, it’s like a mini-vacation (except I’m still working lol). I’ll get some “me” time, you know? Plus, I could always use the extra money. AND, I’m hoping kitty will start to get used to me being around. I’m hoping to pick up a few toys for him before then, so I can… bribe him lmao. He’s a cute pie, he’s just not very people-ly. I’ll give him his space, but giving him a toy or two couldn’t hurt either. ;) It also makes the most sense for me to be the one to watch him. He might be more familiar with me, and I’m familiar with him and the house (and how things work). Sooo, yeah, I’m excited lol. It’s not for another month, but that’s fine. That gives me more time to ensure I’ll have everything I’ll need while staying away from home for a few nights. Alrighty, I’m out. I may or may not be back for one more post.
