Everywhere I turn to for news, its all about the heat wave that is about to hit Europe. It will even be worse in Southern European countries like Portugal and Spain where temperatures will be higher than 40C. Hopefully there will be some showers too to cool things down. Lets all stay cool and avoid dehydration.

Such huge climate change. May there be heat wave or cold wave, we are to blame ourselves. It'll take another 100 years or so to bring life back to where it was. Not easy.

@ogbenishyna44 It certainly can, before it reaches the point of no return. I remember to have seen a video where the great scientist Stephen Hawking had predicted that there are 100 years before the human beings may become extinct due to climatic changes.
That's why taking steps for the next couple of generations is the most important thing. But I don't know how much truth is there in that statement. Because the video didn't mention any credible source of the statement.

Heatwave in Europe would have been something unimaginable in the past, but not anymore with Climate changes across the globe.

@ogbenishyna44 Yes, we are already too late and have done some irreparable damages. At least we can control the further devastating impacts.

Last year our temperature has reached more than 40 degrees. Our government declared that all classes be suspended and the people are advised to stay indoor, avoid loitering around.

@ogbenishyna44 you're right. There are somr who are defiant and when they become ill. They blame the government.

Stay hydrated. Stay as cool as you can.
