Schools Need To Get Back in Their Own Lane

Our American public school system is a joke. Kids aren't learning anything. They are illiterate yet they graduate. They can't do basic math. They were taught revisionist history and activism and LGBTQIA+ in the classrooms instead of the basics. So I applaud President Donald J. Trump's withholding of $6b in "education grants" that the public schools so desperately want but are misusing. Teaching parents how to parent? That's not what my taxpayers should be paying for. Teaching illegal immigrants how to speak English and get welfare and benefits? Nope. In my local school district, they've gone way past "educating" and are trying to be social services. They do the students' laundry for them for free. They provide them with free haircuts. They have food and clothing pantries for the kids to just pick up free stuff. They want more mental health counselors. Whatever happened to TEACHING our children? Isn't that what they're supposed to be doing? They're not even doing that anymore. It's all about the money. Anybody else as fed up as I am with this public school BS?
