I have woken up bright eyed and bushy tailed.....Not sure where that came from but it's an apt description I guess.
I'm in a good mood and it's going to get better. I can't think of it any other way right now.
My husband is liking his new job. It's weird hours but as long as he likes it and he sticks with it I think he'll move up and like it even more. He likes being outside and this is perfect for him.
I got up and out this morning. My tire is officially changed. It took what I had left to do it but it's done and I don't feel like I'm still shaking when I get out of my car. It's definitely a smoother ride than before.
I also hit the bank to grab some gas money out of what little savings I have left, dropped off the engine's milage log and got to work down here at Chris's right on time.
Man, I'm good! lol
So while I'm at Chris's we have Christmas in July on and I'm busting out some computer work.
At some point I'll switch to shop work as I have a shirt order, two car coasters, and two tumblers. I'm trying to get everything done by Friday but we'll see. I'm trying to get to the store to get some of the fourth of July stuff up and even after I think it'll be ok for a bit.
I know I have a lot of expansion ideas for the shop and some of them are in my Amazon cart but the next thing I really want is a laser engraver. I've pretty much settled on the wecreate one, I just need to save for it now.
I'm hoping that by next week I'll have organized things enough that I can spare an hour or so a day to work on my books. I feel less chaotic today and I'm hoping that it continues.
I know that I still have quite a bit of paperwork to do but I think I can fit some of that in over the weekend. I have to print out the shop receipts and keep working on the fire department stuff.
There's more to work on from the Educator book and I'll get there. Seeing as I actually want to take the second one, I'll be doing more than really necessary. I'm ok with that too.
With the weekend being the Fourth I have nothing to do and it's going to feel wonderful. For once I'm counting down the days to something.
There's some minor cleaning to do but nothing that I have to stress over. I do need to work on meal planning. That's becoming a necessity with my husband's weird hours and my hours and mom is rarely home.
Dad is making small progress every day. We still have our fair share of issues to figure out but some progress is better than no progress.
I was informed yesterday during my EMS shift that there will be an advanced EMT class here in Dekalb which means I can take it. It'll be like my Basic class so I'll be able to work while going to class.
Fingers crossed I'll be getting my CPR classes in soon. We're going to ask Rescue Squad if anyone needs theirs and if there's enough we'll just make two classes out of it. Then poof, all done.
So that leaves my Caregiver certification. That doesn't seem like it should be too difficult it's just a bit of money and some time. I can do it once I get the money.
I'm still reading Hidden Nature by Nora Roberts. Once I get into it I know it'll fly by and soon I'll be able to steal away am hour or two at night without feeling so drained.
What is everyone up to today?

I'm glad to hear your dad is making some progress. Thanks for the update. Not much going on here today.

Yeah, he wants to make progress by leaps and bounds. That's why I call him Superman but it's baby steps right now and that's good.

@JordanLader Yes. He needs to take it slow I'm sure.

@LindaOHio He does. I love when he makes small goals though. It shows mental progress
