We had another long, rough night last night. One where George was up until almost 5 Am. Which meant, I was up that late, too. He mentiioned being in pain, but later told me he took off his drain spounage. It's okay to leave his stoma site open to air, but the spounges help keep stomach acid off his skin. Naturally, he forgets that and doesn't tell me. So the site doesn't get clean and the tube shifts around in his stomach.
Had he told me last night, we could've gotten a full night's sleep.

I'm starting to think it's a guy thing. I've found out about a pain my dad was having and I asked him if he told anyone and he said no. I told him if you don't tell someone even if it only happens every now and then we can't help or fix it.
I hope you can get some sleep.

@JordanLader I think part of it, has to do with his afasia. He can't express himself as well.

Thankfully Yvonne is sleeping a bit better now, the COPD flare up is over

Sorry you are having these troubles and you didn't get much sleep. I hope you can get this figured out so it doesn't happen again. Meanwhile talking of things that cause problems I have gotten so used to my bad knee and how I can walk that if I was jollier which I am not I might suddenly feel like doing a dance in which case I would fall flat on my face and break my nose

@RasmaSandra Yes. That's why I put up with it. It's why I deal with the side effects of the stroke. It's why I go to bed when he does, even though he'll sometimes say I don't have to.
