Do You Think Traditional Jobs Will Disappear in the Next 20 Years?

With all the changes in technology, AI, remote work, and automation… I’ve been wondering:
Will traditional 9-to-5 jobs even exist 20 years from now?
More people are freelancing, working from home, or making money online in ways that didn’t exist a decade ago. Robots are doing some jobs already — and AI is only getting smarter.
Do you think we’re headed toward a future where office jobs, cashiers, and even customer service workers are replaced?
Or will some things always need a human touch?
I’d love to hear your thoughts — and whether you think your current job is “future-proof.

Human touch if goes totally missing would be a disaster. At least I don't feel good about it. AI has already started replacing human in many jobs. And it is getting smarter and smarter each day. And there is a supporting argument that AI will replace the traditional jobs but would create many jobs based on AI.

I think we'll always need a human touch, that compassion but I think a lot of jobs will be faded out. Like cashiers, and I'm guilty of using self check out myself but that's because we hire cranky and slow people. I know there are some hard people out there to deal with but you don't need to take it out on your customers that are smiling and trying to make your day a little easier.

There is no doubt that a human touch will always be needed in certain fields like medicine
But hey, some jobs we do now will no doubt be done by robots in the future ...
I have an idea
We can get the robots to do all the jobs you mention above, and then even more
And people the robots are replacing can get jobs in the ever growing number of care homes and work looking after the rapidly growing number of old people
Actually I have just had a great idea because the social care system here in Scotland has a real shortage of workers and a growing demand.
Yay for me.
Get the robots working now
