For several years on tv here in the uk and I know in America .....not sure about the rest of the world, we have seen Super Nanny ....Jo Frost ....helping parents with their children. She knows her stuff, takes no nonsense from children or parents and the actions she takes really do work. I saw a video last night that I totally agree with ....as someone who has worked with young children for 40 years and who has a Grandaughter aged 9 and a Grandson of 13. She says ..... Imagine your child has a babysitter .... a babysitter that you have brought into their life a babysitter who is so powerful, they take over your childs life they think of the babysitter all day they dream of the babysitter at night they think about what they will do with the babysitter the next day they don't listen to their parents or any adult ,,,only the babysitter they cry or play up if the babysitter is not there they only believe the information they get from the babysitter they won't eat unless the babysitter is there they won't leave the house without the babysitter Now ..... imagine that babysitter is ..... a mobile phone / laptop / iPad End of statement ..... This is what I think .... That is very powerful.... I know and see daily the amazing value of these items However I know and see daily the damage that these items do ** what are your thoughts .....
