No matter how many new recipes I try, I always find myself going back to my favorite comfort food ugali with sukuma and beef stew. It reminds me of family dinners growing up, especially on rainy evenings. ?The taste, the simplicity, and the memories make it special. ?What is that one meal you could eat every week without getting bored? The soulful Khichdi, delicious, nutritious and so quick to make. And we can make it with varieties of veggies, grains and mullets, so you never get bored.

@Dreamerby Good to know. Both my daughters don't like it. I have to force them to eat it.

Absolutely true! Khichdi is comfort in a bowl. It’s one of those dishes that brings warmth to both the stomach and the heart. I love how flexible it is sometimes I add spinach, other times carrots and peas. Even with different grains like millets or brown rice, it still tastes amazing. A perfect meal for any day!

Fried rice with egg and veggies is a classic! Quick to whip up and always tasty. I love how you can use whatever’s in the fridge and still make something delicious. It’s my go-to on busy days too filling, colorful, and full of flavor!

Same herechicken is such a go-to! Whether it’s roasted for dinner, tucked into a sandwich, spiced up, or just kept plain, it somehow always hits the spot. It’s like the one food that never gets old, no matter how it’s cooked. There’s a reason it’s a favorite for so many of us!

I'm not sure. The problem is when you eat your favorite food so much you get tired of it. Sometimes it's just taking a break, sometimes it's "ugh, I can't eat this ever again" though the latter is normally caused by food poisoning. It is for me.

That’s so trueand very relatable! Sometimes the food we love most becomes a bit too familiar, especially when we overindulge. A short break usually helps, but when it’s tied to something like food poisoning... yeah, that can ruin it for good. It’s funny how our brains associate taste with experiences so strongly. Hopefully, it’s just a phase and not a permanent goodbye to a favorite dish!
