I went to the store to use up some of the $$ on my EBT (food stamp) card before it expires. I bought a few things that weren't on my list, but I still had plenty left on my EBT card. 
I'll have to go back to the store later this week.
I got quite a bit of cereal, as there were good deals (and I sometimes have cereal for a meal besides breakfast), though I'm pretty sure I'll need to go back and get some more milk before the cereal is all gone. 
In a bit I am going to have lunch, then do Bible study, then listen some more (probably to the end) of my book on CD.
As usual, I got distracted while I was typing this, and looked at the library site. I have four books on hold. Yeah--I'm going to have to read faster or something, as I still have books to read from the last time I went to the library. I think I might make my GoodReads goal. 
Hoping all is well with you in your part of myLot land, and that you're getting everything done that you want to!

Expires? Food stamps aren’t ever supposed to expire. Even if you get a new card, they transfer. Unless California does it different than the rest of the United States? It very well may be.
Oh, is it your card and they are bad about sending a new one when they old card expires? I understand that.

No, the way I understand it is that the $$ they put on the card expires if you don't use it by a certain time. Stupid, but that's how they do it. A lot of things in California are stupid, which is why if I had the $$$ I'd move to another state--like...Oklahoma, let's say.

You will need more milk if you eat cereal quite often.
