It is Wednesday. Hump Day. The middle of the week. So dad got put into a regular room at Cookeville Regional yesterday. It's both good and bad. His blood pressure is still low and the medicine that they were giving him isn't available outside of the ICU. However he is doing well. He is eating and he's drinking, he's awake and alert, not falling asleep a lot like before. We're making progress. He will most definitely not be going back to NHC for rehab. I absolutely refuse to let him go there. They were not doing their job well enough and that was why he got the sores that he ahs now. I'm so livid about this. I'll be picking his stuff up Saturday. On a more positive not I have succeeded in getting some work done. I didn't finish computer work yesterday but I did most of it. I'm pretty sure today will go about the same. I got the dishes done. The laundry even got finished AND folded. I was so proud of myself lol. I actually remembered my glasses this morning so I could actually see while driving. I've found myself squinting now when I'm driving if I don't have them. I haven't had a chance to read and that pile is getting bigger. I am in the middle of Hidden nature and now have the new ARC from Carrie Ann Ryan. I'll catch up at some point. I did get a lot of recipes printed and in binders. I had to organize my stuff a bit better. So all of my recipes are in a binder and I started an herbalife binder for loaded tea recipes. My husband decided to tell me we were lacking doing things at home but I think for everything going on we're doing just fine. However I will be calling in help to get the yard done. That's just not something that I can do a lot of so it's time to phone a friend. I doubt he'll like it too much but it's what it is. The shop expansion is still possible, I have a couple more days left of prime so we'll see what happens. I got a shirt done that was ordered and I am absolutely in love with it. Except for the pink, I hate pink lol. It did turn out amazing though. Now that leaves a windspinner and two tumblers to get done. I'm getting there. The tumblers need to be done by Saturday so I'm kind of running out of time on that one. I can do it though. The house needs vacuumed but I can do that Sunday before the department meeting. The laundry will probably need done again and that's fine. We'll get things done, it's just going to take more time since when we're both not working we go up to the hospital. My back is still bothering me but I've been using the Advil topical and it helps. I still scream if I move wrong but it's better than it was. Things could always be better but I choose to see the silver lining right now and the positive. What are y'all up to today? It's ten in the morning here and stuffy outside already. It's going to be another hot one.
