It's Thursday already and it's just been a week. It's how it's been for the last month or two. Yesterday mom called and said they wanted to know our decision on a rehab center. it really seems like we don't have a choice but to send him back to Sparta NHC. I'm not happy but it is what it is. We're pretty sure when the UTI clears up we'll be ok. While I have been shopping Prime Day and there's only really one more day left, I haven't found anything to expand or help my shop but I did find a mattress. This is so helpful. It will still have some height as it's a 10 inch mattress but we won't have to climb in like we do now. I'm waiting until tomorrow to get it to see if there's anything else but I'm pretty sure that'll be it. With that being said I'll be putting the mattress and box spring that we got from Chris up for free pick up. That is if she doesn't want it back which I doubt. She gave it to us when we really needed it and I don't want to capitalize on that. So if she doesn't want it back I'll be putting it up for free to pass it on to someone else who may really need it. I'll be working this weekend and next week to put together a few things. I have a tournament day that I'm trying to plan out, the changes for Safety Officer and a few for the R&R and Events leader and some public outreach. It's a lot but I already have a head start on it. I just need to talk to my lieutenant about getting it in front of the executive committee. Right now my chain of command works in my favor so I need to get a move on. I won't get it done by this meeting as it's Sunday but I can get the wheels in motion by next meeting. I can not predict anything past this month right now because everything is pretty up in the air. It's going to depend on Kristie and what she's doing with EMR and AEMT. I need two CPR classes still and I think I'll be getting them soon. I forgot to ask at the Rescue meeting. I'm close to getting everything in it's place so I'm not so scattered but it'll still be a bit. I think once dad is back in rehab and doing better, I'll be better. I didn't read last night because I was on Prime Day and I was making an ad for my shop on Facebook. My shop is doing pretty well. I finished the tumblers for the department cornhole tournament today and now I just need to get this one windspinner done. The tracks are giving me a hard time but I'll figure it out. The veteran shirt is being picked up tomorrow and it turned out amazing. I'm pretty sure I'll be making one for myself just not in hot pink lol. My back is still being a pain...literally. One minute I'm ok and the next it flares up. I can walk but I can't stand for a long time. I can sit if I lean forward a bit. I can turn slightly but not like all the way if I'm trying to put something behind me. I can carry my bag, but I can't pick it up well. It's so confusing but it's what I'm dealing with. I'm living on the topical advil and while it helps, I still can only stretch what I can do a little, not a lot. I won't be seeing dad today because I have two pictures to take. The animal shelter here is doing a calendar so I'll be doing one for EMS and one for Rescue today. I tried for Friday but that was a no go. Then I have the Recruitment and Retention meeting tonight. This is all going to be fun. What is everyone else up to?
