Do you sometimes use your smartphone as TV remote

July 12, 2025 1:09am CST
I have been seeing lately how people use their smartphone as TV remote control through the phone's infra-red feature. Some people even use this method to project videos and images on plain walls. Have you ever tried using this feature with your smartphone and TV?

I have tried. I downloaded the tv remote app. I didn't make it for I wasn't able to locate the tv code.

Previously I had a smartphone equipped with infrared for TV remote, AC, refrigerator and so on, but I had to set the brand of electronics first to be able to do it.

No I would not have a clue on how to do that. But my adult children do and some of my older grandchildren do.
