Are you a fan of macaroni and cheese?
I've always loved it since childhood. I had a bad childhood without parental supervision, so sometimes my 3-meals for the day would consist of an entire box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Hey, it was cheap, it was easy to fix, and I liked it.
I still like it plain. Not creamy. Not with extra things thrown into it, although I have had some good baked macaroni and cheese with chicken or bacon in the mix.
Happy National Mac'n'Cheese Day! There's a day for everything.

I love mac and cheese lol. I'm still trying to make some at home but I never seem to get it right. I haven't given up though, just took a small break lol.

@LooeyVille I have no issue with boxed. Kraft to me is the best but for some reason I just really wanted to make my own. I think I keep getting the wrong cheese.

I used to love the Kraft mac and cheese and ate a lot as a kid, Now when I have made it the stuff seems too salty to me and I no longer enjoy it, Happy National Mac'n'Cheese Day!

In the four years after high school, I lived off of boxed Mac and cheese and Ramen. My only real meals were when I stopped by at my parents (around dinnertime) or fast food.
I will still eat boxed Mac and cheese and Ramen.
My wife made Mac and cheese from scratch. It was awesome. When I took over I learned to make it too. It's pretty easy and it contains only bowtie and corkscrew pasta, milk, butter, salt and pepper and small cubes of sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
It's better than the boxed version.
