What kind of water is it? Magic water? Holy water? Fountain of Youth water? The Fox News Story I saw said that a hotel in Las Vegas is charging $26 for a single bottle of water, but it didn't name what brand. So I did some math. That's $624 for a 24-pack. The article said that the same 24-pack sells for $49 at Walmart. Wait, what? Who pays $49 for water? So I looked at regular bottled water at my local WalMart store online and it's $6.98 for a 35-pack of generic bottled water. But then I saw Fiji Water, which is $40 per 24-pack, which must be the kind of water the hotel in Las Vegas is selling. Are you familiar with Fiji Water? Highly overrated. They market themselves as a "Premium" Bottled Water. Who pays that much for water? Would you?

I tried Fiji water once , and I didn’t like it. How can someone not like plain water? It just tasted funny too me. Maybe I’m used to bottled filter water, which is a lower quality? There was an article once that I read, and the writer went to a regular restaurant, but a glass of water was ten dollars. Perplexed, the writer paid for a glass, and it was so good she called out the owner from the back. Turned out, the owner had invested in a state of the art filtration system. To pay for it the owner charged a stupidly high price for the water. But the writer said she enjoyed it so much she bought a second glass just to double check it wasn’t in her head. That all being said, we know the Vegas water is not like that, and even unusually tasty water isn’t going to get money out of me.

I'd have to be pretty darn thirsty to be forking that over for a bottle of water..like about to perish in the desert kind of thirsty.

I don’t know, but somebody will. Most likely they’ll have it in the in-room “bar” and someone will drink it, thinking it’s either free or a dollar.

I drink tap water. I'll only buy bottled water if it's the only option. I think of all the plastic generated by everyone drinking bottled water. It can't be good for the environment. Most recycled containers just end up in a landfill. I'd have to be pretty thirsty and drunk to pay 26 dollars for a bottle of water, lol.
