Woke up early..took shower...and was getting dressed ...took t-shirt out of clothes basket..OMG..there was a Palmetto bug! I have a severe fear of those dang bugs. I panicked, but finally calmed down enough to think...threw the Kitchen towel it was laying on..swatted him with the fly swatter and stomped on him.The 1st nurse I talked to today and told her about the bug, she laughed and told me she was the same way. Made me feel better.
I was Supposed to get a test on my legs, but..NO...all it turned out to be was a Doctor visit and he gave the Okay for the procedure tomorrow. Well, with all the upset and disappointment, I was stressed and ticked off, so I ended up cancelling the procedure tomorrow. I know that from now on I will be making sure that my future appointments will NOT be made before 11am. Trying to make today's appointment by 10am was awful. With the upset over the palmetto bug, and having to drive over 5 miles through traffic and 20 stop lights, was stressful. Then trying to find a parking space...I was 1 minute late, but stressed and Blood Pressure was 150/90.
So I can sleep in tomorrow. LOL

I must admit that I don't much like the look of that bug either .
I didn't read about it but wondered if they bite or sting?

I have never been bitten. They are more or less kin to the Roach. I saw the biggest Roach I have ever seen in Chihuahua, Mexico. It was over 3" long, and 2" wide. I am guessing at the measurements, but I got a good look at it. I was in a bathroom that was outside but still a bathroom not an outhouse. My now ex-husband was holding the flashlight on it, while I used the bathroom. Of that Bug had of moved I would have had a heart attack..LOL

Yikes! Do you live in Florida? I remember listening to scurrying in the motel room in the Keys when we turned out the lights!!! I hope you will get your procedure done.

Well, the map says Florida Panhandle, but most of us call it LA...Lower Alabama.
