Doing a night shift job is something I can manage till 3 am after that I can't my energy goes down I cannot work, yesterday was my night shift I tried to go beyond 3 am by working but I didn't. Took some rest for a while got some energy finished the task of running the scripts and the backup sending reports. How do you manage if you had night shifts?

When I was younger, I worked two full-time jobs so that my wife could stay at home with our children. I started at 2pm and finished the first job at 11pm. I then went to the second job at 11pm and worked until 7am. I was able to be home in time for breakfast with the family. It wasn't perfect, but it was the best I could do. I did this for eleven years until I finally got a huge promotion. That promotion doubled my income and I was able to resign at my second job. I still worked some part time hours for that second employer for another 10 years. About getting through those long night shifts. That was tough. Many many times I thought to myself that I just couldn't do this another day. But I did. I ended up using my breaks to take naps. I had an alarm clock and took two 15 minute and one 30 minute breaks sitting down, eyes closed. I may not have always slept during those breaks but it was complete rest. It helped me get through those tough nights.

When I was working a lot of years ago I did night shift for months on end. I think it had a lasting effect on my sleeping habits

I never did night shifts. I don't think I can survive it. I am a night owl, but I only stay online during those times without the stress of working.

Night shifts are not for women's I can say that, it's not that they cannot do it but it's risky for a women to do night shift, they are no safe in the night I will not allow any women to work at night shifts.

I usually take only 1 cup of coffee as lot of nicotine is not good for health. so i will be awake till the coffee works then wash my face once or twice till the work is complete.

I’ve always been a “night owl,” so it wasn’t much of a problem when I worked nights. The one thing I did that my coworkers didn’t seem to do was maintain my “work schedule” on my nights off. They would sleep on their nights off, while I stayed awake and slept during the day on my nights off.

You are a hard working and dedicated person, sometimes people use you they voluntarily make that kind of schedule.
