Had to go out again...

I didn't want to, but as it turned out, I had to go out again.
One of the buyers from my recent eBay sales asked for a tracking number on his item. I had no tracking number anywhere--I had no clue what I had done with the receipt, where the tracking number usually is.
I called USPS, and the lady told me that I could go to the post office where I shipped the package and they could look up the credit card I paid with and find the tracking number.
So, I went out to the bus stop and to the post office, and of course they man I spoke to told me he had never heard of things being looked up via a credit card number.
He got someone who was evidently more experienced than him, and while she had never heard of the credit card thing, either, she asked me when I was at the post office and where did the package go and stuff like that, and she found my information. She did say, however, that because of the service the package was shipped by, there was no tracking number.
She did give me a number from the barcode on the form I filled out (the package was going out of the country), which I took.
I got home and looked up that number on the USPS site, and even though the number wasn't a "tracking number", it showed me where the package was. I sent the number to the customer, and that's that.
Aside from going to check the mail, I am not going out again.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

You should print your labels for your packages off of pay pal.
