Should criminals who defile minors be castrated?

Some countries do go hard on those who defile minors , others do give minor punishments that do not carry any significant weight. Do you believe that anyone who defile a minor deserves a stricter punishment that should serve as deterrent to others who may want to do the same in the future?

I do agree on the castration except that we should castrate them through chemical methods

We couldn't decide what is due to them. Let the law does its role. If it's in the law then law must be imposed.
