Tropical depression intensifies to storm
Late yesterday afternoon the mayor announced publicly that all classes will be suspended today due to tropical depression Crising with maximum sustained winds of 62 kph (34 knots) or less.
Now it increases its intensity. It's classified as Tropical Storm with aximum sustained winds between 63 and 88 kph (34-47 knots.
By Saturday if it continues to gain more intensity will become Severe Tropical Storm with maximum sustained winds between 89 and 117 kph (48-63 knots.
Heavy rains are battering different places and floods are expected to occur in rivers, creeks and lowlands

Thank you. Recently it's reported that main city streets were overflowing of water rains. The water is knee-deep.

We had severe thunderstorms here early this morning. I haven't really had to deal with hurricane storms since we moved down here. In Maryland we would get like the after effects of a hurricane because we lived off the water. It was always bad but we always survived.

@Nakitakona The rains have been turning into severe storms. I'm surprised we're not called out more with the downed trees or power lines.
