The Battle

This morning when I was about to get down from a tree in the jungle, I spotted a rat running helter skelter towards a bush.
After a fraction of a moment I saw a hawk swooping down to catch the rat who was rushing fast to save itself.
As the hawk reached near the rat, the rat rushed into it's hole. The hawk missed the rat hardly by half a millimeter.
The battle between life and death continuously goes on in the jungles. Sometimes death wins and sometimes death emerges as the winner.

Of course, he was fortunate to escape. One second late and he would be caught by the hawk.

Of course, it was very exciting. It was about to be 7.15 a.m. The hawk was looking for its breakfast, but missed it unfortunately for it. But the rat fortunately got a lease for its life.
