I'm at My Wit's End On What to Eat

I give up, I truly do.
The other day I wrote about the Slim Fast Shakes giving me issues. So I experimented the next couple of days not drinking them and had no issues. Drank another Slim Fast, had issues. So after drinking them for 3-5 years, suddenly my body won't tolerate them. There goes one of my favorite foods.
Fast forward to today. I have been eating these Quest Protein nacho cheese tortilla chips for 3 years. Never had a problem. I exist/subsist on them. But today they turned my face bright red and gave me whelps on my arm. There's another one of my favorite foods dropping off the list.
Three months ago I had to stop eating my favorite protein bar because they had nuts in them and I was allergic to them.
I absolutely positively give up. I was commenting back and forth on my other post with another myLotter and I've decided to pick four foods that I'm absolutely certain I can eat without any allergic or intestinal issues and just eat those four foods and only those four foods for the rest of my life.
Here's my prediction: I will either not be able to find anything to eat and end up weighing 70 lbs. Or I will eat chocolate all the time since it doesn't hurt me and end up weighing 700 lbs. It's one extreme or the other.
Argh! So frustrating!

Chocolate
If struggling to decide what to eat for what ever reason, choose chocolate

Lou, I feel so bad for you. I wish I had some good advice. Are you getting shots or anything to help the allergies?

Oh, I am sorry to hear that you cannot eat the food you used to love. I would be frustrated if I were in your shoes. Years back, I could eat spicy food, but nowadays, it gives me an upset stomach or diarrhea. I guess it goes with age.

Maybe start with a food journal to track exactly what still works for you and expand from there, super slowly.
