There is a river fish called bele which hardly has scales

In bengal there are many fishes which are bred in the rivers. Among them there are ones which have scales. People use coin or other devices to severe the scales and then cut the fishes. Bele is one of the river fishes which hardly have scales. Once cooked it has good taste as well.

thanks jimlos it has very low amount of scales. It swims on the surface of the rivers. May be the other fishes having more scales swim on the river bed so the scales adjust the body temperature with water temperature
