More storms coming

Philippines
July 23, 2025 2:36am CST
I have looked at the weather forecast and it seems that there's going to be more storms that are coming in line this week. it's not enough that we have a monsoon rains that was dragging the recent storm out, but more seems to be coming. So far the rain comes back every few minutes. So far Mom and my brother's work is suspended. They don't want to risk going out there were floods had consumed the roads. The positive thing for me is that I can get longer sleeps compare before. I hope that people are careful out there and not to get themselves wet. Have a nice day

Oh no, what will happen to those working in private companies? They'll surely take a risk coming to work. The storm will impact kids' studies. Parents who can be hands-on will manage, but what about working parents? How will their kids' education be affected.

Both my mom and brother are staying home for now @Soobinah Most are not going to work. Sadly, some earn only on daily basis. Maybe We'll be ask to donate.

I hope we can have some reprieve after each storm, so that people in flooded areas can at least catch their breath. Have a nice day too.

@Letranknight2015 that's a lot to lose.

Most of their houses are so flooded that their pets can barely hang on in their seats. At this point I don't think relief goods will be enough for them. Worst part is that most lost their livelihood. There was even a video of farmer who lost nearly five cows in raging flood. Some how no one's helping @Jenaisle some locals though.

That appears to be what is happening to me: more restful sleep. I believe that the cooler breeze and the sound of rain can lull you to a deeper sleep than other days. For as long as your location is not flood-prone.

Same here @rsa101 even in the afternoon I get to sleep even in the afternoon. But at night I had to wake up a bit because i had to make we don't experience clogs in the drains.

It seems that our weekend will be ruined again. At least it will bring some rains.

This is terrible. Though the recent typhoon passed, we can still feel its wrath. Yes, I heard that there is another storm coming

I am certainly not a fan of storms …although we don’t really get bad ones in this country, I hate the lightning storms the worst.

Hello @Traceyjayne Same here. I do get scared about getting hit by one, that's 1.5 gigawatts of electricity.
