There's something about me that makes a lot of people want to throw up. ---------Pat Boone (1934 – ) American singer & actor The Music world is full of unlikely friendships and full-blown relationships. Alice Cooper and Glen Campbell. WILLIE NELSON & SNOOP DOGG. EMINEM & ELTON JOHN. WAYNE COYNE & MILEY CYRUS. DAVID BOWIE & NINA SIMONE. Elvis and Dean Martin. Sonny & Cher. Ike & Tina Turner. Pat Boone & Ozzy Osbourne?????? Yep. It's true. Ozzy and Pat were neighbors and became good friends ((Pat Boone Remembers Next-Door Neighbor Ozzy Osbourne: ‘God Bless You, Ozzy’, Article Linked Below)). "What's the explanation for all these unlikely relationships, Sir?" How would I know? I'm just a simple country Gynecologist, not a fancy big city Sociologist with a wall full of store-bought degrees. I do have a theory, however, and you can believe it or not. It starts with a simple thesis: Musicians are smarter, wiser, and kinder than the rest of us. Or maybe it's just that music makes us forget all our stupid, superficial differences and allows us to concentrate on the things that really matter, and musicians are most affected by that blessing. "Aren't you even going to make fun of Pat Boone, Sir?" There's no need for that. A simple, "He's not my favorite," will do. With that in mind, let's go to Fractious Friday, October 30, 1998, to see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Anthem Song is for today. Pat Boone makes enough fun of himself just by existing. Although he was Red Foley’s son-in-law, so there WAS an element of musical talent in his sphere. (Couldn’t tell it by him or daughter Debby!) Did you see the meme on Facebook that said, “if you’re mourning Ozzy today, take comfort in the fact that The Apprentice was never ranked higher than The Osbournes.”

I guess if they were neighbors they had to get along. I hate nasty neighbors.
