There weren't that many dishes to wash tonight, just the pan I cooked the hamburger meat in and a couple other dishes that were used for various things throughout the day. So it didn't really take that long to close it down tonight. Although about ten minutes after I was done in the kitchen I heard the twelve year old trudge through to get a snack. I went out there a couple minutes ago to turn the lights off and she didn't leave a mess, so that's a good thing at least. With it being summer the kids have been staying up till two, three and sometimes four in the morning, so it's always a surprise to see how many dishes are left in the morning. Although the last few mornings its just been a couple cups, or the Tupperware dish where we put her watermelon when we cut it. It's going to be time to get ready for bed here in a few minutes. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw another post up before calling it quits.
