Love is tested by time, not by empty promises. Some relationships go wrong, and love goes wrong likewise marriages. Why does it require time to test love? Of course, you will know if the person you love and love you is true, or will never change.
The more you know each other better the more your love grows deeper. But some people can't endure a long relationship; they find someone who can easily understand their needs and forget their promises. I agree with this statement that love is tested by time, not by empty promises.

I completely agree with you—time really is the true test of love. It reveals whether the feelings are deep and lasting or just surface-level and fleeting. Anyone can make promises in the beginning, but it’s how they show up through the ups and downs that really tells the story. Real love grows stronger with understanding, patience, and consistency. Sadly, not everyone is built for the long haul, but when you find someone who stays true through time, that’s something truly special.

@rsa101, some people are like that feelings superficial. They are only good if you're with them but if you're not around for some days, the love of life suddenly finds another. This kind of human being doesn't deserve a true love.

@brokenbee, that is one way to test the person if his or her love is pure or true.
