Yes, I cheated. No, I didn’t fry the chicken. No, I didn’t lovingly hand-whip the mashed potatoes like a 1950s housewife. But did it slap anyway? Absolutely.
To the veggie police out there clutching their kale: calm down. There’s corn. That counts. It’s even yellow and everything.
Tonight’s culinary masterpiece: KFC Famous Bowl Casserole.
It’s easy, it’s delicious, and it sticks to your ribs like that one ex who never really went away.
So that’s what went down in my kitchen tonight.
